Refresher First Aid at Work - Course Overview
Your First Aid at Work certificate is valid for three years from the date of issue. You may attend a 2-day Refresher course anytime within the three-year period. The comprehensive course aims to refresh a First Aider’s skills, providing any recent updates in First Aid procedures. Delegates learn essential knowledge through a series of practical scenarios and exercises.
Who is it for?
The course is only suitable for those staff who already hold a current First Aid At Work certificate that is nearing expiry and who need to re-train to obtain a valid certificate.

This course will help you to:
- develop further knowledge to continue to be a First Aider in the workplace.
- update and practice your skills in a safe simulated environment
- understand your legal responsibilities relating to First Aid at Work
- develop an action plan of good working practices to transfer to the workplace.
- be re-assessed in order to gain this nationally recognised qualification in First Aid at Work.
Assessment
The course is assessed via a practical and written test. If successful the delegate will receive a new First Aid at Work certificate, which is valid for three years.
Duration
2 hours (normally run over 2 days)
